Conference hosted by MLconf bringing together the machine learning and data science community

Why I'm excited to attend & call for abstracts still open

—written by Charna Parkey, Ph.D., Data science lead, Kaskada

Who should attend: machine learning & AI enthusiasts from industry and academia

This year is the first time that MLconf is moving their popular in person event online. The website might say that abstracts are due on July 31st but that's out of date. Submit your abstract directly via this form. For more details on the topics take a look at the call for abstracts. Submission Deadline: August 14, 2020.

I'm excited to see how the organizers adapt to an all online conference. Especially with the list of topics in the call for abstracts, in particular I'm looking forward to sessions on:

  • COVID-19 Research

  • Pandemic Data

  • Ethics/Fairness

  • Deepfakes

  • MLOps

Early bird tickets are now on sale for $99 at the registration link.

Between now and November they'll have webinars, online conferences, training series, podcasts and more—mostly for free. So check out the MLconf main page too.

Hope to see you in November, and if you submit a topic on one of the above I'd love to connect, send me a note on Twitter or LinkedIn!
